As Atla’s full-stack engineer, you will build systems that automate the most complex knowledge work in the world and achieve levels of performance previously considered unattainable. As part of your role, you will:

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient pipelines to support the automation of language model training, evaluation, and deployment processes.
• Design, implement, and manage robust APIs to facilitate access to fine-tuned language models, ensuring scalability and security for high-stakes applications.
• Build and grow our engineering organisation, setting a high bar of excellence that propels Atla forward.
• Tackle unsolved product and engineering challenges - the hardest in the world for LLMs in production.

Please note that this role is in-person (we can sponsor visas and offer international relocation support), and the candidate is required to have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability of building world-class software products, with a strong emphasis on backend systems and infrastructure:
  • Proficient in statically typed backend frameworks (e.g., Java, Golang, Typescript, C++), with Python proficiency as a plus
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g: PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ideally with NoSQL database.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g: Github Actions, CircleCI, Cloud Build etc.)
• Proven experience in implementing scalable pipelines for AI model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Product-driven engineering approach, keen on delivering exceptional outcomes.
