Self-fixing automations for fast-moving startups built on OpenClaw

Every startup founder wants to 10x their non-technical teams with AI, but they do not have time to decide what to automate, build the workflows, and fix them when they break. Clam is an AI integration engineer for startup employees. Our desktop app uses local models to analyze work already on your computer, identify repetitive tasks, generate the workflow in code, and run it in the cloud. No more drag and drop. When software changes cause workflows to fail, Clam repairs them automatically using our secure implementation of OpenClaw. It can write tests, run experiments, update the automation scripts, and even text you for more information. Startups want to focus on the outcome of the automation, not the automation itself. We give each use case a dynamic UI that lets you visualize the output in the best way possible for you. How are we keeping our OpenClaw secure? Our system runs a series of scans at the network level to scrutinize every piece of data leaving and entering your system. Each message is scanned for personal info leaks, prompt injection attempts, and malicious code, and custom policies.

Clam: Semantic Firewall meets OpenClaw
See original launch post

Hey everyone! We’re Anshul and Vaibhav from Clam.

If you’ve heard about OpenClaw, you’ve also heard about the security risks and the data leaks that have already happened. Whether you’re an enterprise or an individual, you’re rightfully worried to give it access to all your accounts and data.

We’re putting our past experiences together to solve that.

A bit about us:

Anshul led AI evals and observability at HappyRobot (Series B YC company), and Vaibhav worked on scaling virtual agents at Augment Code (Series B AI code company). Fun fact, we were also partners during our Computer Security course at Berkeley a few years ago.

What we’re building:

Clam brings enterprise-grade security through their “Semantic Firewall”, a security checkpoint that sits around the AI's environment at the network level.

Our system runs a series of scans on anything your AI sends out into the world and everything that comes in to catch inconsistencies before they turn into problems.

Each message is scanned for personal info leaks (SSNs, credit cards, private keys), prompt injection attempts (jailbreaks, instruction overrides), and malicious code (reverse shells, encoded execution).

To keep your data even safer, API keys and secrets are injected at the network level so the AI never sees or stores your credentials.

Deploy and set up broad-access AI agents built on security with Clam.

Our Ask:

  • We’d love to talk to folks who’ve already set up their OpenClaw or haven’t yet due to the security issues. Please reach out!
  • Please check us out at TryClam.com to get onboarded with integrations smoothly. We’re continually improving the system so any feedback is super appreciated!
