Unlike traditional video analytics limited to pre-defined parameters (like a weapon, bag, or license plate), Conntour supports unlimited, highly specific scenarios described in plain language. This enables a single human to monitor thousands of cameras. Matan (CEO) worked with security cameras for years, leading video surveillance in the Israeli Military. Tomer (CTO) is a second-time founder and former director of engineering. Our team also includes computer vision experts from Israel’s elite 8200 intelligence unit and former top officials from the Mossad. I’m the co-founder and CEO of Conntour. I worked with security cameras for years, leading video surveillance in the Israeli military. I also led surveillance at a private security company - where I worked with most of the existing video analytics solutions. In those roles, I used most of the existing solutions and experienced a major need that had no real solution. That experience also helped me build strong connections with global leaders in our industry.

Who we’re building it for:

Conntour targets organizations with thousands of security cameras. That includes governments (military, police, intelligence) and businesses (corporates, retail, industrial companies). These teams can’t manage so many cameras and it leads to huge losses - money, legal violations, and even human lives.

The Problem with existing solutions:

They offer low customization, as they’re limited to pre-defined parameters (like shirt color or license plate number). This lack of flexibility causes missed critical events, too many false alarms, and countless hours wasted on manual footage review. Conntour solves this by offering unlimited flexibility through natural language queries - just ask anything.

Team:

Matan (CEO) led a military video surveillance unit - leveraging security cameras to save lives. Tomer (CTO) is a second-time founder and former director of engineering.

We’ve known each other for 13 years, first meeting in the special forces during our mandatory military service. Since then, we’ve studied together and tackled many challenges side by side.
