Backend Engineer - LATAM

<h2>What you’ll do</h2>

• You’ll be a core member of our team and work on every part of the stack to accelerate our product growth and development <br>
• Build great products that add value to our business customers <br>
• Plan the project, generate estimates & discuss business oriented task prioritization <br>
• Generate an opinion for the best UX, participate on the product design <br>
• Keep good quality backend code <br>
• Solve end-to-end problems <br>
• Test your code (e.g. writing unit-tests and API-integration tests) <br>
• Adapt your solutions on the startup needs and stage <br>
• Adopt agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our applications <br>
• Lead and couch other less experienced Software engineers <br> <br> <h2>What we seek</h2>
• 2+ years of professional experience building web products and services <br>
• Solid software architecture skills <br>
• Strong computer science fundamentals <br>
• Capability to write good quality code, scalable and at a fast speed <br>
• Good understanding of how the web works and how to keep the app secure <br>
• Ability to adapt and work on an continuously evolving environment <br>
• Communicate complex ideas in a simple way <br>
• Strong desire to learn and to grow <br>
• Spanish speaker <br> <br> <h2>Nice to have</h2>
• BS (or greater) in Computer Science or alike <br>
• 5+ years of professional experience on web development <br>
• Fintech experience <br>
• Ruby, AWS <br>
• Ability to also develop in front end (Javascript, React) <br>
• Fluent in English <br> <br>
