Biz Ops / Chief of Staff

Double is looking for our first Biz Ops/Chief of Staff. This is the first non-technical hire, and it’s a critical role for Double. We expect this person to grow with our team and be a major reason why we win.

Type of Work

No two days will be the same, and you’ll be empowered to work on what’s most important to the business. This might look like any of the following:

• Answer customer support tickets and build out our support function
• Negotiate contracts with data providers, landlords, and all other vendors
• Manage our compliance efforts related to being an RIA
• Run marketing campaigns and create sample portfolios on Double
• Work closely with our CEO on projects like “setup 10 user interviews over the next 3 weeks” and “launch our product”

Experience

An ideal candidate will have a few years of experience doing something like:

• Working at a startup (sub 200 employees) in a Biz Ops-like role
• Working in consulting/finance/banking
• Proven ability to get shit done

While excellence in tools like Excel, SQL, etc. is helpful for this role, the ability to be excellent and hungry to learn quickly is really what matters.

Location

• Double is based in San Francisco and it’s important to us for this role that you are as well. We’ll work together out of our North Beach office ~3 days a week.
