Duffl uses data to wholesale the most high margin, high demand products and store them in dark stores near our customers. So when a student places an order on our website, we deliver the products directly to them using electric scooters, in an average of 10 minutes. We believe the secret to the fastest, cheapest and most convenient delivery service is proximity and we've been able to get closer than anyone else through our use of data science.
I was born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley before moving to Los Angeles for college, studying electrical engineering. Before Duffl I was in the Networked and Embedded Systems Laboratory (NESL), working with reinforcement learning on robotics, localization with UW nodes, and multimodal sensing. At Duffl I spearheaded our engineering efforts, building the product from scratch to Series A, supporting $2M in revenue and 10,000 users. I am currently on sabbatical, open to new opportunities!
I was born in Jiangxi, China, but grew up in Lima, Perú. I'm deeply passionate about electric vehicles and believe in a bright future powered by renewable energy. When I was a kid I wanted to become a tech entrepreneur in the automotive industry and eventually work on improving transportation in developing countries. Talk to me about anything, from existential philosophy to battery technology.
