Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

We are looking for a motivated software engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with the co-founders and our early customers to help health systems operate more efficiently and deliver better patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with co-founders (both technical) to build product features for early customers
- Work closely with early customers to understand business requirements and build features that really matter
- Help grow the engineering organization and set cultural direction

Phone Screen
This stage is a more informal call to get to know more about the role, and for you to evaluate whether it’s a good fit for you. We are looking for people who have a strong interest in working on a early stage company with initial traction.
We'd also love to learn more about what technical projects you've shipped and answer any questions you might have about us.
Technical On-Site
Come meet us in San Francisco! We'll send you a problem to take a look at 24 hours ahead of your visit. For your visit, we'll be working collaboratively on the problem. You can get a good sense of what a regular day is like at Latent, and we can see how we would collaborate together.

Latent builds medical language models to help hospitals authorize drugs super fast. We sit right in the intersection of healthcare and AI. We have signed enterprise contracts with several of the largest healthcare organizations in the world, and have more waiting to use our product!
Vision
There is 1 trillion dollars of paperwork waste in healthcare today. For the first time, we can use language models to effectively automate all of it away. This is a very large opportunity, and we are breaking into the market by tackling prior authorizations.
