About the role

Job Summary: As the Associate Vice President of Sales, you will be a key driver of our sales success. You will take charge of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closure. Your leadership skills will shine as you build and manage a high-performing sales team. Achieving and surpassing company-set targets, you will collaborate across teams and contribute to the overall growth and success of Legistify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively generate sales pipeline by identifying and reaching out to potential clients, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.Take complete ownership of the sales pipeline from initial pitch to follow-ups and ultimate closure.
  • Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed company-set targets. Regularly assess performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the executive team.
  • Team Management: Assemble and manage a high-performing sales team of 3-4 members over the period of time to achieve individual and team targets. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product development.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in overall sales excellence, with over a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong ability to set and achieve ambitious sales targets, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate complex concepts and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
