Backend Engineer

Your mission

As a Backend Engineer at Leya, you'll be the backbone of our operations, playing a pivotal role in making legal insights more accessible. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing back-end features for our web platform
• Making sure the code of our platform is top-notch in terms of quality and security
• Helping out with the platform's architecture design and optimization

You'll primarily be working with Python, vector databases, and LLMs, and deploy on Azure using Docker.

Who you are

• Have a strong track record in building back-end services
• You're into writing clean Python with a strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection
• Have cloud experience (CI/CD, server-less functions, etc)
• Excited to join a start-up and to contribute where you see opportunities
• Eager to be part of the LLM revolution and work with building the best agents for legal work
