marketfeed is a Y Combinator-funded seed-stage startup founded by Sharique Samsudheen & Sooraj E in 2020. With more than 1.5 million followers on social media and 200,000 app users, we have been achieving over 20% MoM growth for the past year. Our users have invested ₹160 crores using marketfeed.

🕵️ Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Platform Engineer with prior expertise in managing Public Cloud and building Platform tools & services. This role would be responsible for setting up and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, implementing, monitoring & alerting to ensure strong reliability and uptime of our mission-critical services, and designing and developing core platform tools & services.

🎯 You’re a great fit if you have:

1. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in configuring & managing Public Cloud Platforms (GCP Preferred)

2. Good knowledge of Cloud services like App Engine, PubSub, EMQX

3. Experience in setting up Open Source Monitoring & Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Signoz etc.,

4. Great understanding of DevOps Fundamentals and SRE Best Practices

5. Experience with building platform tools & services using Python or Go

6. Experience with working on Real Time Data Processing Systems & Databases like Redis, Realtime Database, Firestore etc.,

7. Prior experience in building Financial Products & Services is a plus

💬 Interviewing with us - Hiring Process

While the process may differ for different roles, the basics apply to most positions we hire.
Here are some of the ways we assess candidates in our hiring process:

1. Short virtual chats: Before diving into more in-depth interviews, you’ll typically have one or two shorter conversations over the phone or via video. These will usually be with a recruiter and then with either the hiring manager or peer on the team and are designed to assess critical skills you’ll need for the role.

2. Interviews: Based on the role of your job level, our process can be rigorous (typically 3-4 interviews either over video or in person). However, we also try to keep it friendly and warm and allow you to get to know us better.
