The Role:

As Moxion’s Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, you’ll support the supplier quality department.  You will be responsible for managing the databases that are used to drive supplier quality management. You will lead on new projects that increase team efficiency and provide leadership a high level overview of supplier quality performance. By supporting the supplier quality team, you will learn the basics of using foundational quality tools, measurement equipment, problem solving and more.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain existing databases and dashboards for supplier quality team operations
• Lead new data analytic projects, such as supplier performance key performance indicators
• Execute on process improvements, including system integration, to streamline and increase team efficiency
• Assist fellow team members with tasks, such as inspections, supplier development, root cause analysis, packaging, suspect material disposition, etc.
• Visit local suppliers to participate in quality audits and development
• Prepare agendas and coordinate during team meetings
• Create reports for leadership review on goals & objectives
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Skills to be Successful:

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G Suite
• Experience with Smartsheet and/or Tableau is a plus

Pay Equity

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
