The Role

As the Manager of Service Supply Chain Planning within Moxion's Supply Chain organization, you will create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of parts & accessories at Service Centers, design process improvements and next generation planning systems, and perform data analytics for Service Supply Chain Operations.

You will be a thought leader in developing end-to-end channel planning solutions as well as managing the project execution. The role is highly visible due to the scope of responsibility and impact, so you will have VP-level exposure. It is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables. To be a successful candidate for this role you must be an energetic, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of parts & accessories across Regional Distribution Centers, Service Centers to support service demand, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory levels
  • Maintain channel planning master data MRP parameters to ensure accurate demand signals
  • Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Production, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Field Operations as well as Packaging Engineering, and Warehousing team
  • Continuously improve Channel Planning forecast accuracy, service level, and fill rate KPIs
  • Work with Production, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Field Operations teams to understand regional demand and supply needs and to support Global Service operational goals and metrics
  • Collaborate with NPI, Reliability Engineering and Procurement teams to plan for material End-of-Life (EOL) transition planning with the goal to ensure reliable long-term service coverage while minimizing
  • Lead, manage, coach and develop a high performing team of service material planners

Skills to be successful:

  • Masters in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and comfortable communicating with Senior Management
  • Experience in Supply chain, demand and operations planning, network distribution or inventory management will be looked upon favorably
  • Proficient in handling data and data analytics overall. Advanced Excel features like Power Queries and Power Pivots
  • Tableau dashboard creation
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably working with medium-to-high volume products) with knowledge & experience in converting and communicating demand requirements for products into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
