Curative gene therapies for kidney diseases
Nephrogen is looking for a Biomedical Research Intern to join our team and contribute to the development and discovery of next-generation gene therapies for kidney diseases. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-impact translational research in an early-stage, fast-paced startup environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in a wet lab setting, a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and be capable of juggling several different tasks and responsibilities concurrently. This is a 10-week full-time summer internship (40 hrs/week) with an ideal time frame of May - August and will take place at our research facility in SoHo, Manhattan, New York. The ideal candidate will also be able to continue part-time work during the school year.
Nephrogen is a seed-stage biotech company in NYC developing curative gene therapies for kidney diseases. Our initial focus is on polycystic kidney disease (PKD), which affects 600,000 Americans and has no effective treatment or cure.
