Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

  • Take full leadership and ownership of the finance department and build and manage a team of A-players.
  • Be part of the company’s senior management and work directly with the C-Level team for strategic decisions.
  • Own the financial reporting, monthly financial statements, and management accounts (consolidated and per country) including PnL, BS, and CF statements.
  • Ensure monthly/yearly reconciliation, consolidation, and closing of accounts and compliance with statutory audit & tax requirements.
  • Identify and track company KPIs and assist the executive team in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day activities of the finance team: payments, bookkeeping, financial accounting, management accounting, and cash flow planning.
  • Develop & enforce internal controls and financial infrastructure.

Qualifications

You are:

  • 8+ years experience in Accounting, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Audit, or similar functions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills & readiness to be hands-on to get things done independently with limited support & guidance.
  • Dynamic and can perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with tech systems incl. Xero, ERPs etc. (F&B experience is a bonus but not mandatory)
