We are looking for a Business Development Lead who will identify, pursue, and successfully close business development opportunities that not only drive our growth but also contribute to helping patients worldwide.
What you will do
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to spearhead the expansion of our biopharma customer base while playing a pivotal role in scaling our business development processes. Your mission will be to identify, pursue, and successfully close business development opportunities that not only drive our growth, but also contribute to helping patients worldwide. You not only possess a proven track record in driving business growth in the biopharma industry, but also are deeply passionate about helping patients.
You will drive Business Development and Sales:
Own and manage potential customer relationships, delving deep into their objectives, and evaluating how our products and services can best address their unique needs
Lead engaging customer demos and presentations, both in-person and virtually, to showcase the value of our offerings
Manage the development of materials such as documents, presentations, and other communication tools for both internal (e.g., evaluation and leadership presentation activities) and external facing activities (e.g., pitch decks)
Lead and participate in external events (e.g., JPMorgan, BIO) and industry conferences, to represent our company and network with potential customers
You will collaborate internally to drive scalable growth:
Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to design new products and services based on potential customer feedback
Design and implement business development processes at-scale (e.g., collaborate with Product and Tech teams on product-led growth efforts)
Collaborate with team on B2B marketing content and content lead generation efforts (e.g., blogs, articles, videos)
What will help you succeed in this role:
Proven business development / sales track record with 5+ years in related roles, preferably serving biopharma customer accounts with contract values over $1 million
Understanding of dynamics and issues in the biopharma industry, such as biopharma decision-maker constituents, therapeutic assets, diagnostics, real-world data and real-world evidence programs, and / or clinical trial enrollment related products / services
Existing relationships in the biopharma industry across executive, commercial, marketing, medical affairs, diagnostics, and related teams
Experience negotiating across multiple levels of an organization to communicate the value of our products
Able to travel (e.g., industry conferences, potential customers) at least once per month

The salary range for this role is $134,000-$198,000 annually. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.

The preferred location for this role is in San Francisco (working on-site 3 days a week). We will consider remote applicants located in major metropolitan areas in the United States. Relocation is not offered for this role.
