Short-form video is eating the world
Vertical video is the most retentive format on the internet (with the highest ad spend), but it's captive on the three major platforms. The best publishers and consumer companies want to participate (see Glassdoor, DoorDash, and CNN’s recent feed launches). Companies are desperate to own first-party data, engage their users more deeply, and drive ad revenue within their own experiences.
But it's still really hard at scale
Teams today either spend millions to ship quality short-form feeds, roll out poor-quality ones that fail to retain, or don't ship them at all because they don't know where to start. It's a massive missed opportunity for consumer companies, and an existential one for companies built on attention, like news-media.
So we're making it really easy
