Founding Engineer
About the role
Vista is looking for a founding engineer to help build our MVP. We are AI-powered product description data processing/enhancement tool, starting with the auto parts industry. We're funded by top investors, have recently gone through a pivot, and are looking for someone who's excited to join on the ground floor.
Looking for someone scrappy with 5+ years of experience in engineering, 2+ years building in AI. Experience/domain expertise in the automotive space is highly preferred.
We are a remote team that's able to sponsor US visa for the right fit.
About the interview
We're looking for a product driven engineer with a strong sense of ownership. As with any early stage startup, our value proposition is being scrappy and moving fast, with an emphasis on great cross functional communication. Our interview process is designed to find these types of engineers.
30 minute phone screen (overview of past experiences, getting to know you more, etc.) 45 minute interview with CEO (in-depth whiteboarding/ problem solving session) 1 hour technical interview with CTO
