At Vooma, you will:
- Design and implement user experiences that leverage the power of the latest AI.
- Work with customers across logistics to understand their needs, and design the tools that enable the workflows of the future.
- Work closely with the founders to design, hire, and build the company from seed to success.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience and appetite for working at a startup
- Design, iterated, and scaled web-based user experiences.
- Experience with frontend frameworks like Next.js, React, Tailwind.
- Experience contributing to UI and product design cycles.
- Eagerness to wear multiple hats, lead new initiatives, learn new technologies, and get it done; whatever it is.
About Vooma
We're building the co-pilot for logistics
Vooma is a back-office automation platform that handles tedious tasks that are critical to executing freight. Our mission is to dramatically improve the efficiency of America’s $800BN trucking industry.
Our first product automates order entry from shippers, which is the process of reading emails and keying in details about a load. It's a ubiquitous and expensive pain point for brokers and carriers, and the perfect wedge for building our broader platform.
We've raised our seed round from Tier 1 investors and leading industry angels. We have enterprise contracts with leading logistics companies. Our team is made up of top talent from AI research and autonomous vehicles.

Our team
Vooma is founded by Jesse Buckingham and Mike Carter. Mike built self driving trucks as a founding engineer at Kodiak Robotics (raised $250M) where he established and led their motion planning and safety teams. Jesse was previously CEO at a private equity backed logistics software company that sold to brokers and truckers which he grew from $2M to $20M+ ARR.
