Zywa is the first and fastest growing payment app tailored for the next generation in the Middle East and North African region. The next generation deserves a better financial future. We are on a mission to change this by ensuring the next generation understands the fundamentals of personal finance and learns to be smart with money. This is the 0 to 1 phase of the company and you will be working on amazing and cutting edge technologies with peers from Silicon Valley who have built the likes of Revolut, Monzo, and other global category-leading financial technologies.

Here’s what will be in store for you at Zywa once you join as a graphic designer.

Responsibilities

Establish, evolve and translate the visual language for the team Develop original creatives that are informed by strategy, research, and integrated between touch points and product experiences Contribute to the visual design creation of easy to use, high craft components for our design system Do quality checks to ensure designs and creative assets are polished and ready for implementation handoff or final delivery Be a bar raiser always for the design and quality of the visual design team by bringing inspiring ideas to the table and guiding those ideas through to fruition with attention to detail Research and analyze the best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics

Qualifications

Expert knowledge of visual design, typography and color theory Proficient with UI and UX best practices and have worked hands-on in projects end-end Proven organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Hands-on experience in all phases of design process from project initiation through final delivery Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest design techniques You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) as well as Figma. A wonderful portfolio that you’re happy to present

We follow the following process for the interview:

-Initial Assignment (we will share an assignment with a deadline of 48 hours)

-Initial Fit Round (we will be evaluating the logical and creative skills, along with previous background)

-Final Assignment (we will share feedback on the initial assignment which you will have to incorporate)

-Cultural Fit Round

The typical interview process takes 10-14 days from start to finish. That said, we have moved more quickly and look to accommodate candidates who might have a short timeline or competing offers. The more information you can share about your situation and where you are in the process, the more we can either attempt to expedite, or save you time .
