During my last year of high school, worried about the lack of communication between students with different socioeconomic backgrounds, I built a social platform and won the best startup award among young entrepreneurs in Stockholm. After joining the most prestigious university in Sweden (The Royal Institute of Technology), I was eager to do something more with my time.
During the onset of the Corona pandemic I looked for ways to help out and started to source and produce PPE. Coming in contact with the hard pressed nurses and doctors working in ICUs and other facilities I soon found there were other more pressing issues to be solved. When I met my co-founders we decided to band together to create Bemlo and reverse the deteriorating situation we saw in healthcare staffing and recruiting.
I'm CEO and co-founder at Bemlo, which I started working on in 2021. Previously, I worked within the staffing industry, first as Head of Sales for HackerRank competitor in Europe and then working for three years as CEO for a high-growth staffing agency. While building a staffing agency, I had first-hand experience with the issues of finding talent. Bemlo solves this for the highest labour shortage in Europe, nurses and doctors.
