We are hiring a Procurement & Warehouse Officer to scale-up bipi in Indonesia

Who are we? We are a YC- and venture-backed technology start-up with the ambition to unlock Indonesia’s reseller market potential. We leverage our bipi network of sellers, including “warungs”, to whom we provide modern trade solutions such as point-of-sale, marketing tools and payment terms. We help consumer goods suppliers expand sales channels in a highly fragmented market, while benefiting our sellers with additional income and a wider selection of products.

How can you contribute? Source and procure products, negotiating and maintaining relationships with suppliers (e.g., online / offline sellers, direct) to build a reliable and cost-effective supply portfolio Manage warehouse operations, coordinate closely with the bipi warehouse team to deliver quality goods and on-time service to our customers. Keep our customers happy! Ongoing capability building and implementing best practices in your area of work

What are we looking for? Based in Bandung Native proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia. Conversational proficiency in English. Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills. Team player. Proven track record in developing processes and operational procedures, implementation and continuous improvement Experienced in consumer goods procurement (domestic; imports optional) - budgeting, sourcing, purchasing, supplier negotiations, risk management (e.g., supplier, inventory) Experienced in warehouse management - receiving goods, QA / QC, issue resolution Good understanding of related / interfacing processes (e.g., delivery scheduling, invoicing and payment collection, customer service, other)
