Blaxel is the perpetual sandbox platform for AI agents that need to run code fast. Unlike traditional sandboxes that expire or suffer from cold starts, our sandboxes automatically scale to zero after 1s of inactivity and resume in under 25ms with full memory state preserved — allowing you to keep millions of secure sandboxes on standby indefinitely. We also co-locate your agent logic alongside these sandboxes to eliminate network overhead, delivering near-instant latency for end users.

Our team of 6 co-founders previously built and sold a data platform to OVHcloud, which eventually became their entire Analytics product suite. What we saw during that time is that the current world’s infrastructure wasn't built for the AI revolution that's coming.

Traditional clouds were built almost 20 years ago. Their architecture and service sprawl weren't designed for agentic workloads. Nor was the UX thought for the developers who build them.

Not only that, but the economics don't make sense anymore. As AI agents become more autonomous, they're racking up huge bills from LLM calls, serverless tasks, and network bandwidth.

In the next decade, we're looking at billions or even trillons of AI agents coming online, each needing computing power, memory, and connectivity in every direction. The world’s current infrastructure isn't just unprepared, it's completely inadequate.
