The Problem

I (Grant) spent four years at Salesforce as a Sales Engineer and saw firsthand how frustrating CRMs can be. Despite massive investments, CRMs often become messy and unreliable, burdened with stale data, duplicates, and manual data entry. CRMs promise so much, but never live up to their full potential.

So why is this the case? Why hasn’t this been solved already? Well, it’s a hard problem, and many have tried over the years (Salesforce included):

  • CRMs are incredibly complicated, unique, and accumulate tech debt
  • There is an enormous amount of source data to make sense of (emails, calls, files, transcripts, etc.)

Our Story

We (Grant and Jarrek) met at our last startup, Northbeam. Grant was employee #1 & Head of Sales, Jarrek was employee #2 and Head of Product Development. We helped grow that business from $100k to $10m in revenue in about 15 months. We built a lot of trust in one another, we both love building products, and we both love building companies.
