AI/ML Engineer
About the role
We are looking to onboard to an AI/ML engineer. Here are some of the projects that you might be working on:
- Anomaly detection, forecasting and prediction problems involving large amounts of metrics data
- Decision Tree generation and iterative DFS with reinforcement learning
- LLM / NLP implementations for use-cases like annotation, summarisation and more.
We are looking for someone with 1+ years experience, and exposure of working with these problem statements in the past.
About the interview
- First call with Founder / CEO (also an ML engineer) -- An early introductory call to understand personal motivations, answer any questions about the company and get a sense of skillset.
- Quick On-call Exercise (< 2 hours) -- Evaluating skillset to unblock themselves, think through problem solving and get to solution. (ChatGPT usage is COOL)
- Decision (If both first and second went through, then we discuss terms of contract.

What we do
At Doctor Droid, we are building tooling in the observability & monitoring category. Our product enables engineers to speed up their on-call investigations. Currently, we are in the beta. We are a fast moving company and have built multiple products to support engineering teams' critical pain points:
- On-Call Assistant: Speed up on-call troubleshooting and investigations by leveraging past knowledge
- Kenobi: A Platform designed for real-time analytics and alerting
- Alert Audit Report: Understand the noise and quality of alerts in your critical slack channels
Vision
Think if anyone in the team can debug an average production issue without requiring to involve a senior engineer (or a team of engineers?). Wouldn't that be wonderful? That's what we are working towards.
