Duckie is an AI technical support engineer that handles tickets autonomously. Duckie sits between customer support and internal engineering, independently handling technical questions, issues, and requests before they reach engineers.

Our goal is to become the only solution a company needs for technical support. We are building a founding team that is ready to take over this $20B market.

About the role

We are looking for a founding engineer to be part of the founding team building the first AI technical support engineer. Duckie is built on AI agent frameworks, and we are constantly evolving the product to take advantage of latest research. This role will be 30% applied research and 70% product engineering. You will -

• Experiment with latest AI technologies and research and put them into implementation.
• Have the freedom and responsibility to design and own projects from start to finish.
• Have opportunities to directly talk with customers and solve their problems!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of gen-AI systems (LLMs, model training/fine-tuning, agent frameworks, evaluation frameworks, vector DBs, RAG, etc)
• Experience in building and scaling backend systems and infrastructure
• Strong generalist, skilled with Python, cloud infrastructure (AWS), Typescript.
