Hi all, we are Chris and Rory, founders of Kenobi.

TL;DR: Kenobi is a small widget that asks your website visitors what company they’re from. For those that opt in, the whole page changes in about 3 seconds, making the page hyper-relevant to them.

Problem

98% of web traffic does not convert.

That’s because your website looks the same to everyone: a startup founder and the CFO of a Fortune 500 company get the exact same experience when they land on your site. When you have to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no-one.

Kenobi appears on your website as a small widget (we call it a ‘cue card’), prompting site visitors to share what company they’re from.

When a cue card is submitted, our agent collects context on the visitor, marries it up against the deep research its done on the host domain, and swaps the content on the page to make it hyper-personalized and unique, all in 2-3 seconds.

How we got here

We were building Verdn, a donation software, for 4+ years. We pivoted into building Kenobi in May, and for the last few months we’ve been working with sales teams to generate customized landing pages for outbound campaigns.

During all that time, our #1 feature request has been to cater for inbound web traffic. After tens of thousands of web page variations, we feel like our model is finally good and fast enough to tackle inbound personalization.
