Full Stack Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive Engineer to join our team full-time as employee #3. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to make a substantial impact in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. You are expected to thrive in a demanding and fast-moving environment. You will collaborate closely with our founders. We are hiring for an on-site role in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop core product features on both the frontend and backend of our product.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to conceptualize and implement new features.
• Maintain and improve our codebase for optimal performance.
• Conduct code reviews and perform debugging tasks.

Skills

• Proven track record with significant experience in full-stack developer roles, preferably as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and front-end frameworks like Vue.js/React and server-side development using Node.js.
• Proficient in working with diverse database technologies, with a preference for candidates with excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experienced in operating software in a scalable manner (eg. using Kubernetes).
• Plus: Experienced in building, operating, and optimizing DevOps pipelines in a production environment.
• Plus: A background in Machine / Deep Learning or prior experience in working with Large Language or Multimodal Models.
• Fluent in both English and German, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
