Software Engineer - Backend

Levers helps B2B companies accelerate cash collection and boost cashflow. Through Levers receivables management software, finance and collection teams can streamline and personalize collection communication at scale across multiple channels in addition to automating labour intensive back-office functions.

Levers was founded in 2022 by team of builders with backgrounds from Yale and Stanford and with extensive experience in accounting, fintech, and SaaS. We are backed by YC and top investors who funded leading unicorns, such as Mercury, Pilot, Careem, Jasper, Tabby, and Tamara.

Responsibilities

You will become part of an agile team of software engineers focusing on the development of our products and backend services. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to drive and launch new products. This role offers a chance to assume significant ownership and make substantial contributions as an early engineer in the company.

• Responsible for infrastructure and server-side decisions, owning the entire backend.
• Collaborate with the founding team to scope and prioritize features based on customer feedback and company goals.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure a cohesive and integrated system.
• Debug issues and bugs in our production and staging environments

You will be expected to contribute to planning the product roadmap. Outside of engineering, you will pave your own path, from hiring, managing an engineering team, launching new products, or expanding to other markets. Additionally, you will build the company culture from the ground up alongside the founding team.
