Founded in late 2015, Millibatt raised over $4M in funding and developed patent protected 3D batteries for IoT and biomedical sensors. Millibatt's 3D battery technology was developed at UCLA for over 20 years until the founders finished up the project in 2015, founded Millibatt, and licensed the technology to bring to the wearables, medical, and IoT market. Millibatt's 2nd generation product, high power coin battery was launched in September 2020, and is being tested and evaluated in emerging applications in trackers, earbuds and health monitors. The batteries are in the process of getting UN certifications for safe shipping internationally. Our technology is ready to scale up and get into customers’ products.

We are a team of 4, a small and very agile team that takes care of multiple projects independently. Our manufacturing demand is increasing and we are looking for our 5th person to help us on the Sales front managing customer prospecting, qualification, and support customers with engineering problems.
