The global economy is roughly $100 trillion. Around $30 trillion of that is the physical economy, the movement of goods across retail, logistics, and supply chains. Yet this entire part of the economy still runs on legacy ERPs, spreadsheets, and large operations teams.
The problem is that these businesses scale by adding headcount. Every new PO, every invoice, every shipment confirmation requires a human to process manually. As headcount grows, human error compounds, processes slow down, and operations become a bottleneck to growth.
We discovered this firsthand. We flew out to one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, rented an apartment next to their office, and spent a month doing the work ourselves.
