TL;DR:

Streamable makes sure many of the biggest IRL streams stay alive under poor network conditions.

The Main Problem:

Without Streamable.run, streamers that stream outside and encounter poor network conditions, will disconnect from Twitch or Kick. Their stream will end, and their thousands of viewers get kicked from the stream. By the time they reconnect, most of their viewers have gone on to do something else.

Nang, being a streamer himself and being friends with many streamers, felt these issues firsthand and knew that all IRL streamers were frustrated with the current solutions available.

The Solution

Cloud Hosted Streaming Servers. Our product sits in between the streamer and the streaming platform, which allows for a clean solution to many problems IRL Streamers face:

🔵 100% Stream Drop Protection: When a streamer encounters poor network conditions when streaming IRL, our system automatically switches their screen to display their most popular clips and let the viewers know that connection has been lost and that the streamer will be back soon.

🔵 Remote Stream Management: Bigger streamers have remote teams that are not necessarily at the streaming location. The streaming server allows team members and moderators to edit and manage the stream from anywhere in the world.

🔵 Switch without ending stream: Without Streamable, streamers only have one input to their stream, causing them to need to end the stream in order to switch cameras (for example, switching from Desktop camera to IRL phone camera). With Streamable, they can switch cameras while livestreaming with a press of a button in our UI.

🔵 Collab Stream: Streaming platforms accept one input to the stream, making it impossible for streamers to share the same camera feed when collaborating. Streamable allows streamers to share inputs with other streamers with on-platform friend requests, so that all streamers can share the same camera easily.

Progress So Far:

In the past 3 months, we’ve gotten a stable product that is the best on the market. We are also powering many of the biggest streamers and working with production teams for Adin Ross’ Brand Risk, Sperm Racing, FaZe Clan, EdwardKSo, etc.

Through working with these streamers, we’ve discovered that the IRL streaming industry is growing extremely fast, has very underrated cultural relevance, and is currently extremely underserved. We believe streamers deserve so, so much better, and that’s what we’re here to do, starting with this first product!
