MediSearch 👨‍⚕️🔎 AI search engine for trustworthy medical information

tl;dr: You know how when you google stuff about your health, you always end up getting diagnosed with some deadly disease by an SEO-optimized health blog? MediSearch gives you direct answers to medical questions based on trustworthy sources using LLMs. Also available as an API.

**Story and Problem:**
Eduard was going to have his 2nd surgery on his knee in December. He visited 8 surgeons in 4 different countries and was surprised to find 6 different surgery options. He had no idea which opinion to trust, so he turned to researching online. We realized that current options for finding health information are either:

1. unable to give direct answers to questions (WebMD and Healthline)
2. untrustworthy (current LLM chatbots or health blogs on Google)
3. or too technical (PubMed papers)

Solution:

Since joining YC, the usage of MediSearch has grown 30x, validating that we are solving a real problem.

Also, to the best of our knowledge, MediSearch is currently the best performing publicly available medical QA system on the United States medical licensing sample exam. You can check our performance here.
