Hey! 👋 We’re Owen and Joseph, the founders of Forum. Today, the primary driver of global value is human attention – clicks, views, and shares. We’re making the first regulated exchange to trade it.

As founders, we debate a lot about the attention on different companies, people, and cultural movements:

• Is Claude Code more popular than Cursor?
• Is Bad Bunny bigger than Drake?
• Is Elon Musk more influential than Sam Altman?

Now, we’re turning the relevance of these topics into tradable positions. I’m personally long Claude Code and short Cursor.

How it works: We create an index that measures engagement (combining search and social metrics), and you bet on whether or not the index will go up or down. It’s like the stock market, except instead of going long or short on a company, you go long or short on the popularity of your favorite topics.

Right now, we’re using fake money (you all get $1,000), but we’re working with regulators to bring this to the US with real-money trading soon!
