Hona is a software application that allows for businesses to automatically keep their clients up to date as to the status of their service. Alongside these updates, clients will have a unique user interface that will allow them to see the important milestones within their service and also receive education as to how it works and the next steps. Beyond the updates and education, Hona serves as a tool for clients to upload documents, directly communicate with the business, leave reviews and feedback to the business, and more. The long-term vision for Hona is to be the all in solution for client experience management used across many different industries. Clients will have one app to communicate and interact with multiple different businesses. As clients enjoy the use of Hona with one business, they will yearn to use it with other businesses. Additionally, the seamless integration between the business's CRM and Hona makes it desirable for the business to use as well.
After studying Finance at BYU, I did B2B SaaS sales for a legal tech company in Utah. While selling that software, my clients asked for a specific feature, they wanted "a dominos pizza tracker for legal cases". I left that company to create that tool so that all businesses can update and educate their clients on their services.
While studying Mechanical Engineering at BYU, I started an e-commerce sandal company called J-Slips Hawaii which I scaled to $1M+ in revenue in 2 years. I turned it over to my family to run so I could pursue a career in tech. I taught myself how to code and became a software engineer working at extremely fast growing tech companies, first Qualtrics and then Route, before co-founding Hona.
We’re Milestones, and we’re building the bridge between businesses CRM and their clients.
In 2018, Co-Founder, Manny’s wife, was in a car accident on her way to work. The injuries she suffered put her out of work for a few weeks and caused emotional trauma, so she decided to hire a lawyer to get her compensation. During the course of her legal case, she never felt like she was kept in the loop. She didn’t understand the process and always wanted more information.
When a client wants more info should they always have to reach out? Do you text Amazon to ask them where your package is at? No! We believe you shouldn’t have to text a business to see where your project is at either.
Think about your interactions with various businesses:
How much better would it be if there was a Domino's Pizza Tracker-esque interface for each one?
Milestones connects directly with a business’s CRM to automate updates and stream information back and forth. Notifications are sent to clients via text message, so that a client has easy access to the information. Clients enter the milestones application through a link in the text message. Clients and businesses can communicate back and forth through the Milestones application.
