Hey everyone we’re Harsha and Dhruv from Slashy. Our goal is to define the next generation of email, by building an email platform that actually works for you, and learns over time.

TLDR: Slashy is the next big email platform after Superhuman, the first with an assistant built in. Slashy can do everything from writing drafts in your tone, texting you when an important email comes in, prepping you for calls, to the things you expect from a true email client like keyboard shortcuts, open tracking, a mobile app and more. All while continuously learning about you and your preferences, so it only gets better over time. The average user takes 5 minutes to get set up and saves an extra hour a day. Read an independent review from Tom’s guide (1m+ subscribers) here.

Problem

Most founders we speak to, have one of two problems (sometimes both)

  1. They spend too much time manually handling email, and not enough building their company.
  2. They don’t spend enough time on email, and lose important deals/hires due to things slipping.

Solution

That’s why we built Slashy, the first email platform that reliably gets work done for you, whether it be drafting emails, notifying you when a prospect replies, schedule meetings, or more. Slashy works wherever you work best, so onboarding is seamless (just ask some of our users). It takes 10 minutes to set up, and saves the average email power user an extra one hour a day. It does this by:

  1. Doing all the basic things right: Stuff like keyboard shortcuts, open tracking, unified inbox, team comments, availability links, all come part of Slashy. So you don’t lose anything transitioning from Gmail, Superhuman, Front and more. (@Jayme Hoffman actually switched to Slashy being surprised just that a new email client could match the speed, shortcuts of something like Superhuman)
  2. Writing drafts that sound like you: Claude drafts sound like slop because they just look at the thread. Slashy does a lot more, it looks at the linkedin/web of recipients, past emails you’ve sent, past changes you’ve made to prior drafts, and more including using our own custom-built memory system for email. (Fun fact we have a special tool for handling suggesting times/scheduling as base llms are very bad at this). (@Michelle Marcelline pretty much just hits send on all her Slashy drafts with minimal edits)
  3. A powerful sidebar: Slashy comes with a cursor-like sidebar. That lets you do things like search, draft, schedule and more. So you no longer need to keep flipping between ChatGPT and your email. (@Yahia Bakour loves this to power thorugh drafts and replies)
  4. Integrations: Slashy connects to not just your email, but your meeting notes (Granola, Fathom, Circleback, etc.), crm (Attio, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.), Notion and more since the context to handle email isn’t just in email. (@Pavlos Markesinis loves how Slashy connects to his Attio and makes life simple)
  5. Automations: The best assistants also know when to handle things in the background. So Slashy can also automatically do things like prep you for calls, text you when an important email comes in, and more. (@Owen Botkin relies on Slashy to prep him from calls, and @Pranav Madhukar doesn’t even check his email anymore unless Slashy alerts him an email comes in)
  6. iMessage/Slack Bot: One of the worst parts of traditional clients? You need to open them to see if something important comes in. Slashy can ping you on text/slack so you don’t even need to context switch. (@devansh is one of our bigger Slack fans, while @Abhinav Gopal for iMessage).
  7. Voice: Sometimes it’s easier to speak your mind than write (or you’re driving and just can’t haha). So Slashy lets you dictate your thoughts, and our AI will make it sound like a much better version of you. Or you can talk with our voice to voice agent when you’re commuting (@vishruth is one of our power users for our voice drafts).
  8. Personalized Memory: Slashy gets better the more you use it. It keeps notes on how you write, who you talk to, when you schedule, and also it learns from every edit you made before hitting send. It even once a week goes back and rewrites its notes to better match you. After all you'd expect a human assistant to be smarter after a few months, why not your ai one. (@Devraj Gopal loves how Slashy has grown to know him more and more).
  9. Natural Language Labels: A common complaint we hear is the rise of the AI SDR, and how everyone’s inbox is inundated with emails. The problem with traditional labelling systems is they don’t adjust over time, leading to important emails getting missed. Slashy’s labelling system does, leading to a much better filtering rate, and fewer dropped balls. (@Nazli Danis was drowning in spam before Slashy)

Security and Privacy

We take security/privacy as an email client very seriously.  We’ve already gotten CASA, and SOC II. We also get monthly pen-tests done by @Casco to ensure our users' data is safe. None of our AI providers train on your data as well.

Getting Started

Now if you want to get started just go to slashy.com, or you can book a time here if you’d like me to demo the product/ask any questions just shoot an email to founders+ea@slashy.com, and Slashy will schedule a time that works for both of us :)
