Companies in regulated industries (e.g. finance, healthcare, and legal services) are under pressure to adopt AI, but strict data protection and compliance requirements make it difficult.

Larger enterprises work around this by building internal engineering teams or working directly with the big AI labs.

Smaller institutions don’t have that option, leaving them unable to adopt AI or limiting them to only a few use cases. In some cases, they push for adoption while downplaying security and privacy controls.
