Open Application for YC Growth Program

by Ali Rowghani1/30/2018

We are delighted to invite interested founders to apply to the YC Growth Program. If you would like to be considered for admission, please complete this application. It should take about an hour to complete and all questions must be answered. The purpose is to get to know your company and to assess your fit for the Program. The deadline for application is February 23, 2018.

NOTE: This application is for founders who have never participated in YC’s accelerator program. If you are a YC alum, please do not complete the application, but use the application that was posted on Bookface instead. If you have questions, please email ycgrowth@ycombinator.com.

The Growth Program is designed for companies with between 50 – 150 employees that are scaling rapidly. Ideal candidates are companies that expect to double employees, revenue, customers, etc in the next year of operation. We will consider applications from companies that are smaller and larger, but will prioritize companies that meet the description above for this first batch. We will also be prioritizing YC companies for admission in this batch, but we hope to accommodate a few companies that have no prior association with YC as well.

The Program will start on March 27 and conclude by the end of May. We expect to meet one evening per week during this period, but may meet twice on certain weeks. In-person attendance is mandatory. We require participants to attend all of the sessions, with one excused absence allowed. If you know that you can’t make this time commitment from late March through May, you should not apply. We have limited participation to founder-CEOs only in order to accommodate as many companies as possible while maintaining an intimate group size. A big part of the experience is the relationships you build with your fellow founders, so you’ll want to be in the room as much as possible.
