Hey YC! π
We're Upeka and Dilan, co-founders of Diana (W24).
Every OpenClaw today is an intern with root access and no oversight. β οΈπ΄ββ οΈ
So we built the first one that has a boss. π¦
Diana is a business-ready OpenClaw with a Governor monitoring every action - that can shut it down mid-task, before damage is done.

TL;DR:
π‘ Diana is a business-ready OpenClaw with a Governor monitoring every action
β‘ Connect 3,000+ tools via API, or log into any app via Browser Logins
π Per-user credential isolation. Every employee gets their own sandboxed agent
π Built by engineers from Google, Gusto, MIT, CMU, and Yale
Here's the thing about OpenClaw: it talks directly to your tools. Slack, Notion, your APIs. No filter. No oversight. If it hallucinates or gets prompt-injected, it acts on your systems before anyone can stop it.
Diana never talks to Slack, Notion, or your APIs directly.
Every action routes through the Governor first. It checks intent, filters output, and watches for drift in real-time. If something is off, the Governor kills the action before it reaches your systems. Not after. Before.
The architecture:
β Slack ingress hits the Governor (trust boundary)
β Governor routes to isolated agent sandboxes
β Agent has zero DB access, zero secrets
β Every LLM and tool call goes back through the Governor
β Governor filters output before it reaches Slack
Diana connects to Slack, Google Workspace, HubSpot, Stripe, Notion, Linear, GitHub, and thousands more via API.
And if there is no API? Diana logs in with a browser, just like you would.
HRIS portals, benefits platforms, 401k providers, state registration websites. If you can click it, Diana can work it. All through the Governor.
Don't replace your team. Give them superpowers.
Diana is simple to install and use: Install to Slack β connect your tools β just ask:
β "Show me our Hubspot pipeline by stage and expected close date"
β "Build me a revenue dashboard in Google Sheets for our March Investor Update. Send me a revenue dashboard every month."
β "Review these 5 invoices against the tracking spreadsheet let me know if there are any discrepancies"
β "Every Monday at 9am, send me a summary of the #general Slack channel from last week"
β "Onboard Sarah Chen as Senior PM into HRIS Payroll. Hereβs the offer letter."
Diana works across finance, operations, sales, product, engineering, marketing, and HR. Built for every employee on earth. Hire humans, and help them to 10x.
Before Diana, we built DianaHR, a fractional HR service for SMBs. Running that business, we saw firsthand how much time operations teams waste on repetitive tasks: onboarding new hires into HRIS systems, chasing unsigned documents, answering the same benefits questions, filing state registrations.
When OpenClaw exploded, we saw the opportunity: an AI agent that could actually do this work. But the security gaps were a dealbreaker for business use. So we built a Governor on top, added per-user credential isolation, and created Browser Logins so Diana could work with tools that don't have APIs.
Backed by Y Combinator (W24), General Catalyst, and SNR Ventures. Built by a team from Google, Gusto, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and Amazon.
And this is just the start. Our goal is an AI employee so trusted you can hand it an entire business function and let it run.
