Problem
Home care agencies are one of the most operationally complex businesses to run (shifts, schedules, care notes, reports, forms, audits, timesheets, invoices etc), yet most are still managed across a patchwork of spreadsheets, WhatsApp group chats, shared drives, physical forms etc. These agencies are buried in constant paperwork and frequent audits, to ensure they are compliant per the government regulations.
Solution
We built TakeCareOS from the ground up to replace this fragmentation with a single, intelligent platform, where AI agents automate the admin work humans currently do by hand. Our platform consolidates every function such agencies run on — rostering, shifts, CRM, care notes, messaging, invoicing, timesheets, forms, asset management etc. — into one place, and at the heart of it sits Atlas, our AI agent that does the back-office admin for them and helps them stay compliant.
Why now
Over 6M Americans rely on long-term services and supports (LTSS) covered by over $140B/year under Medicaid HCBS. Over 700K Australians rely on disability support covered by over $40B/year under NDIS.
Care agencies are facing a storm however — rising demand from aging populations and disability schemes, tightening compliance requirements (e.g. the recent NDIS Integrity Act passed last month), and a chronic shortage of staff. The agencies that survive the next decade will be the ones that can run leaner without cutting care quality. AI is finally good enough to do the admin work that's been crushing them.
We went live with a couple of pilots last month. Since then, we’ve closed 6 agencies, 200+ employees across them, to run their entire business operations on TakeCareOS.
