  • Binks
    Binks (s2019)Active • 70 employees • Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Getting clothes tailor-made is very common in India, especially for women. Saree blouses have to be tailor-made always due to their fitted nature & the non-stretchiness of typical Indian fabrics. The tailoring market however, hasn't evolved at all. It is highly fragmented with a low NPS. The end user experience demands a significant amount of the customer's time, involving visits to a physical shop & avoidable back & forth. This is increasingly unviable for busy urban Indian women. We make it super easy by letting women place an order online, get fitted at the comfort of their homes, help them with styling their fabric & deliver the made-to-measure clothes directly to their doorstep.

  • pap!
    pap! (s2024)Active • 3 employees • Berkeley, CA, USA
Consumers miss out on $50B+ every year because they're busy and unaware, and that money is sitting in their email inbox. So, we automated reading email receipts and claiming the money they're entitled to, offering a service to which you can sign up once, do (literally) nothing, and earn $. Where is this money coming from? - Retailers: When the price of clothes or furniture you've already bought drops, you're entitled to a refund for the difference - Airlines: When a flight you've booked gets delayed or canceled, you're entitled to a cash compensation. - Enterprises: When a class-action lawsuit is filed against a company you engage with, you're entitled to money. - And many more, that even the government holds some of your unclaimed funds. Today, the dream of one service that automatically claims the money you deserve when you shop, fly,... and live is (finally) possible. We started with automating refunds in the shopping industry and have secured $5,000 in refunds to our users, growing 136% MoM. With AI, we've been able to repurpose that same automation to tackle refunds in the flight industry and the class-action lawsuit landscape. Why us? (1) We're obsessed with reclaiming what's rightfully yours: Kamal and Anthony grew up in Lebanon, where people's money was unfairly taken away. (2) Weijie was the lead infra engineer for Wish's recommendation system, the feature that fueled their IPO. Our combined experience includes Apple, Addepar, Bolt, Wish, and StackAdapt. And we're all working towards one goal: move those billions of dollars where they belong.

At Tab, we’re revolutionising the way travellers discover, plan and book a trip. The Guide lets travellers find and book anywhere — with helpful recommendations from friends & local experts, rather than bland listings with endless reviews. Travellers get the best price and they help local businesses avoid unnecessary fees. Travel experts, content creators and the friends you always ask for recommendations can use The Guide to showcase their favourite places to stay and things to do. When you book one of their recommendations, you’ll get a discount from the business and they receive bonus credit to say thanks. The Tab platform gives independent tourism businesses the tools to improve their online presence, be discovered, take direct bookings — and also to take payments. Our payment platform is uniquely designed for tourism businesses, handling over 100 currencies natively, and every payment type securely and easily. As travel returns after a difficult period, it’s time for a fresh approach. That’s why we’re building a social commerce platform for tourism — helping to spread the benefits of tourism far and wide, and helping travellers make the most of their precious time abroad. GamerPay (s2021)Active • 6 employees • Copenhagen, Denmark
GamerPay is a marketplace for trading gaming skins and assets without scams. We do this by integrating with games to instantly validate all trades. We launched 3 months ago and transacted 245.000 dollars growing 30% MoM. Talking to 5.000 gamers we learned that 46% have been scammed more than once. Over half are minors, who are stuck trading for cash on social media due to their age. We are the first to build a fully compliant system for parental consent, enabling the majority of gamers to trade legally and giving the parents peace of mind. There are 215 million trades annually in games we support. We make 7 dollars on average per trade. So a $1.5B initial market, growing fast alongside gaming and blockchain game economies. The team behind previously co-founded the largest transactional marketplace for secondhand high end clothes in Denmark, with 1 million users and a yearly transacted GMV north of $40 million.

Zac did CS and AI Research, and Lucious built his first $1M ARR product while moonlighting at a YC startup at age 19. Since launching the beta in February, BiteSight has onboarded 274 restaurants in SF, handled 211 orders, and users are growing more than 50% each week, all organically. UberEats and DoorDash have become cluttered and impersonal super apps. They've created a $30B opportunity for a delivery app that puts the customer experience first by combining high-quality videos, recommendations, and social proof from your most trusted food critics - your friends.

Dex (s2019)Active • 7 employees • San Francisco, CA, USA
Dex is a personal CRM that reminds you to keep in touch with the people you would otherwise forget. Dex helps turn your acquaintances into your allies. Going beyond the superficiality of social networks requires commitment. If you remember to keep in touch thoughtfully, you can turn the interesting person you met at a networking event into a friend that has your back. I built Dex after failing to keep up with the tools I tried (Airtable, Notion, etc) for relationship management. Installing an actual CRM like Hubspot felt like a wrong fit for my informal relationships -- these people were 'my team,' not customers. Dex is a lightweight personal CRM that’s easy to stick with. Key to Dex is a Chrome extension that enables you to manage relationships while you’re in Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, and the social apps you already use. Dex can also send you actionable reminders (daily, or based on your calendar events) to log your interactions for next time. By using Dex, you can: - Build stronger relationships, by sending you a nudge to follow-up. - Be more thoughtful, by helping you remember where you left off. - Become a superconnector, by making connections you wouldn’t otherwise remember.

Founded by Stanford engineers, Calii is taking a full-stack, tech-driven approach connecting directly with producers and brands, automating the food supply chain end-to-end, and delivering to users’ doorsteps via a network of micro-fulfillment centers. By cutting middlemen and inefficiencies in the food supply chain, users get ultra-fresh groceries with savings, meanwhile helping the environment by reducing waste by up to 3X. Even though COVID-19 increased the use of grocery delivery apps, grocery shopping remains largely offline (~95%) and represents a multi-trillion dollar opportunity. In order to mimic the organoleptic properties of chocolate (tender, smoothly melting taste release) we are working on the flavor itself but also on replacing the cocoa butter. 55 Mio lbs of chocolate are consumed every day. By 2035 we will substitute a big chunk of it through our sustainable chocolate. In addition, we are working on extending our technology platform to additional ingredients such as palm oil.
